— DETAIL ROUND BRUSH #0: Detail Round brush has a narrow tip with long closely arranged bristles. It is ideal for the finer details including strokes, lettering, outlining, delicate continuous strokes and retouching. Precision for your cakes, cookies & desserts

— FILBERT BRUSH #2: Filbert brushes are a flat painting brush with an oval shaped end and medium to long hairs. This brush is a blend between flat and round as it combines properties of both to create wide variety of strokes.
The Filbert brush is a narrow, flat brush with hairs that come to a rounded point. Used on its side, a filbert gives a thin line. Used flat it produces a broad brushstroke. Filberts can be used for blending, water colour washing, stroking, soft round edges, filling round areas, creating round strokes like leaves and flowers, shades and highlights.
— FLAT BRUSH #4: Flat brushes have a square end with medium to long bristles. They are great for wide strokes where you want a lot of paint coverage. If you are working on a surface where a wash brush might be too large, the flat brush gives you excellent coverage while also providing you a little more control over the wash brush.
— ANGULAR FLAT BRUSH #6: Angular Flat brushes are also known as an Angular shader. It is part of the flat family but with angled hairs at the end. A versatile brush that can be used for sweeping curves, filling corners, precise lines, calligraphic brush strokes and fine tuned precise marks. Best used for tight shading and highlighting.
Flat brushes can also be used for thick to thin lines, however for many people the angled type will likely provide a little more comfort and control when working on a upright cake.
